Situated
on the south-east corner of Lanzarote, Costa Teguise
is one of the smallest resorts on the island.
Popular
with families and beach lovers, it's a pleasant resort
which has managed to hit the right mix between low key
and enough to keep the whole family occupied for a couple
of weeks.
Great
beaches (Playa de las Cucharas is said to be the best),
fantastic shopping in La Cucharas, and a busy Sunday
market all combine to provide endless entertainment
for those staying in Teguise.
Not
the liveliest resort on Lanzarote (head to Puerto
del Carmen for the nightlife), Costa Teguise
does offer a wide range of places to eat, some offering
traditional Canary Islands food whilst others serve
up food more akin to being at home.
Those
who are keen on a more active stay can enjoy several
watersports from the beaches including scuba diving,
windsurfing or why not hire a jet ski.
